FRIENDS HOMES WEST
Friends Homes West opened in 1993 and was built by Friends Homes to meet the needs of an expanding senior population. The campus is located on West Friendly Avenue approximately one-half mile from Friends Homes at Guilford. Friends Homes West is near Guilford College and close to shopping areas. The continuing care retirement community offers three levels of care on a fee-for-service basis.
Friends Homes West has a fitness center with an indoor swimming pool, a beauty/barber shop, woodworking shop, game rooms, craft facilities and a stocked lake.
The 55 acre campus includes: 171 one and two bedroom apartments for independent living Assisted Living – 40 rooms Health Care Center – 40 private rooms
