Giving Opportunities

Make a Donation

Making a donation online is a quick and convenient way to show your support of the Friends Homes mission.

Friends Homes was incorporated in 1958 and began providing care more than 65 years ago. As we move into the future, your support is essential. Guided by Quaker principles, Friends Homes offers an environment which encourages independence and a sense of wholeness, wellness and security, at reasonable cost, so that each resident may live a fulfilling life. That’s our mission. Your giving makes it possible, and, with so many ways to give, we make it easy.

Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in daily life at Friends Homes, bringing time, energy, and compassion to our community. They assist in many ways—staffing the community store, supporting events, reading to residents, offering companionship, and more. These efforts enhance residents’ quality of life and foster meaningful connections. Volunteer opportunities, both on and off campus, also give residents the chance to stay active and engaged. By giving their time, volunteers help create a strong sense of purpose and belonging for everyone involved.

Stories of Generosity

Gratitude is a powerful expression of the Quaker value of simplicity and appreciation. Equally powerful is the idea of a faithful continuum—a community shaped and sustained by the generosity of individuals over time. At Friends Homes, we are deeply thankful for the estate gifts we have received from residents and supporters who believe in our mission and who live out the Quaker testimony of stewardship. It is our honor to share some of their stories with you as we celebrate these thoughtful donors—individuals whose quiet generosity and enduring spirit continue to enrich the lives of others.
