Friends Homes expects to begin relaxing some restrictions regarding visitation and is working to resume some of our pre-COVID operations. As we begin to relax these restrictions, we will continue to maintain stringent employee and visitor screenings. These precautions are in line with guidance from the NC Department of Health and Human Services, our local health department, other state and federal agencies. Our approach will be cautious and coordinated to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff. Because these changes will be made gradually and in multiple stages, please reach out to us for more details at info@friendshomes.org.
There is a certain confidence that comes with knowing your future needs will be taken care of.
As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Friends Homes offers a complete continuum of care that is available to you right here on our campus, should you ever need it.
Independent living residents receive comprehensive, personalized healthcare management including access to a full-time resident care coordinator who is a liaison between residents, physicians, therapies, other ancillary services and other departments. The Resident Care Coordinator also arranges or assists with arrangements of health services and provides wellness education programs for Independent Living residents. In addition, residents have access to a full-time Social Worker who offers personal counseling and facilitates support groups. Working together, our goal is to help you maximize your potential for wellness and independent living for as long as possible.
Should your needs ever change, you can rest easy knowing that higher levels of care are available right here on campus. Independent living residents enjoy priority access to the healthcare center for assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory care services. Friends Homes is a Medicare-certified community.
